Loneliness, Isolation to Empowerment (LITE) Education

Connection in Action offers 3-hour education for older adults, community groups, service providers, and businesses, free of cost.

Our Loneliness, Isolation to Empowerment (LITE) Education enhances your organization’s understanding of issues that impact older adults. We provide you with tools and resources that help increase your capacity in supporting your customers, clients, and members who are older adults.

LITE Education topics include:

  • Risk factors and health outcomes of social isolation and loneliness in older adults
  • Elder abuse prevention
  • Ageism
  • Age-friendly communities

LITE Education session overview:

  • One 3-hour session
  • In-person, but can be offered virtually
  • 6 – 12 participants
  • Receive a Certificate of Completion
